Our projects cycles are usually within the three-year timeframe. Our developments consist of buying the right land, and finding the best use to existing buildings that it can reposition to add value and increase the ROI of itself, and investors.
Terry has been in the real estate industry for more that three decades, successfully delivering projects throughout Canada. Born in Wales, he arrived from France after playing club rugby for Bordeaux, to venture into the Construction industry at the grass roots level. As a trade contractor first, then a builder, he delivered interior and ground-up projects.
Terry was the founder of Wallace Brown Daniels in 1996, yet later in 1999, partnered with welshman Robert Ogden, and launched a fully integrated construction company: Penalta Group Ltd. As President of Penalta for 17 years, Terry and Robert were able to build a company based on strong relationships and always being able to deliver on its promise. Penalta has built more that 40 million square feet, and efficiently managed over 3 000 projects in the past two decades in Canada.
In 2016, a new opportunity in the real estate development field flourished, and Black Dog Development was founded to host a 3.5-acre, high-end office, storage and restaurant project: iQ centre in Oakville, Ontario. The development’s success was its vision, team and consultants. The project was fully sold-out before it’s completion on late 2019. Terry currently presides Black Dog Development.
